The Shulchan Arukh HaRav is an 18th-century legal code by Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Chabad, commissioned by his teacher Rabbi Dov Ber of Mezeritch. It provides a concise version of the 16th-century Shulchan Arukh and is widely used by Chasidic Jews and respected beyond. Much was lost in a fire; only a third survives.
